The school district is required by law to evaluate him to see if he needs special help if he has a confirmed medical diagnosis that may get in the way of his education. Yes. Comorbidity is: when 2 or more conditions occur in the same person. ADHD can be comorbid with both Autism Spectrum Disorders and Schizophrenia. However there is overlap of symptoms as well and a good evaluation is necessary to differentiate if the person has one or the other or both conditions.
