Adenocarcinoma stage 4 prognosis, what to do?

Adenocarcinoma stage 4 prognosis, what to do?

Define primary: Definite treatment indicated. The primary site of the adenocarcinoma must be defined and resected if possible. When primary removed, chemosensitization studies can be performed to choose best drug. ...Read more

Serious diagnosis: Stage 4 colon cancer has a very poor prognosis. No one can give you a life expectancy that is exact. It depends upon her response to the treatment. Some people respond very well. Of all people that have this diagnosis only about 8% of them are still alive at 5 years. But still she could be one of that 8%. I hope she responds well to the treatments. ...Read more

Stage 4 nsclc adenocarcinoma metatasized 0 months now coughing and spitting up blood, requiring immediate blood transfusion. Why?

Progression of dz: I am very concerned with the symptoms. That indicates perhaps now the disease has progressed more-especially with presence of significant anemia. There is a possibility that now the cancer has gone to the bone marrow and supress normal blood production. The cancer in the lung may have gotten bigger that's explaining presence of cough/spitting blood. Need treatment ( chemo and radiation th) d/w md. ...Read more
