Kinda sorta: most people with bad headaches tend to remain still and quiet because movement tends to exacerbate there headaches. In your case, the left side of your head begins hurting much more when you move your head about by shaking. For two days now, I have a mild-moderate headache only when i violently shake my head up and down. Just nodding or shaking head left to right im fine.

Stop violent shaking: Most people will get mild headache if they violently shake their head up an down. Stop it. You might have more tension in your neck than the average 18 year old, or maybe some chronic sinus stuff. That could 'tighten you up' so that you could get a headache from violent shaking. Sinus pressure: When ther e is local pain usually it is related to structures cause pain underneath. The pain felt while shaking head is suggestive of sinus collection with inflammation. Can I use vicodin for Paxil (paroxetine) withdrawal headache?

No: I would not recommend using an potentially addictive drug to ease a side effect of withdrawal from another drug. Not sure if you are working with your doc on tapering schedule or not, if you are may need to slow it down. Discuss with doctor, there may be other options. For some of my patients i've had success putting on Prozac to wean off paxil, (paroxetine) then wean off prozac. It's longer half life helps. ...Read more
