I take 25mg zoloft for anxiety. I am a recovering opiate addict. Heard Wellbutrin (bupropion) could help, also take adderall (ADD) & suboxone. Dr likes zoloft. ?
Klonopin is working wonders for me but in addition to severe anxiety, I have add & am so scatterbrained. Is it okay to take both klonopin and adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine)?
Yes, but...: There's no medical reason these can't be taken together. Your doctor would need to monitor your situation closely with this combination to make sure it's helping and not hurting. There are alternatives for each, too. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

See a Psychiatric specialist if you are not, and be alert to needed dosage increases. Both Depression and Anxiety can cause attention problems, but respond to SSRI's alone. ...Read more

Tough question: Switch to another psychostimulant or reduce the dose to start. Sometimes selective beta blockers can be added (naldolol, metoprolol). Low dose trazadone can be added (low antichiolinergic profile) it has some anxiolyt. I suggest making only one change at a time if possible. Buspar (buspirone) can be tried but BP has to be watched.
