I went from taking Vyvanse30mg @ 8am & 2pm to taking AdderallXR40mg @ 8am & AdderallIR10mg @ 2pm. Adderall did little to nothing. Any idea why?

It depends.: If you're taking the stimulants for ADD/ADHD, the expected results would be an improved concentration and focus, improvement in hyperactivity, being able to accomplish tasks better. Oringinally on Adderall 5mg, not strong enough. Switched to Adderall 10mg bid, now to Adderall XR 10mg bid. How will this effect me? What dif will i c

Smoother Effect: Short-acting stimulants have a rapid on/off effect. At their peaks they can be too powerful and are prone to wearing off before you remember to take the next dose. These surges and falls can be both exciting and anxiety producing. Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) xr has sprinkles which act like well-timed doses that pick up where the last left off. They are designed to better fit with your day - once daily (not bid). ...Read more
