Adderall And Biotin Supplement
I am on Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) currently and take 30 mg normally. Would it be a health risk if I took the biotin (1000 mcg) along with that? I would take 5 of them
Biotin: Biotin is a vitamin and a coenzyme -- deficiencies can happen in pregnancy and rapid weight loss, long-term tpn, etc. I do not find any interactions between this and Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) in naturaldatabase. Com. I'm wondering why you want to take 5000 mcg of biotin, though? Seems like a very high dose -- even though I don't find the side effects dr. Enriquez mentions. Http://tinyurl. Can I take biotin and a multi vitamin with antidepressants and remeron (mirtazapine) for sleeping alone with Adderall and klonopin?
Re-evaluate: There is no problem with taking biotin and a multi-vitamin. Be sure it has methyl folate (folic acid) 500 mcg and methyl cobalamine 500 mcg. Check 25-oh vit d and ferritin level and make sure these are in middle range or higher. Look at life style and go towards health with less medication if possible. ...Read more

As per webmd.... There is insufficient evidence that biotin helps hair loss. There is some preliminary evidence that hair loss can be reduced when biotin is taken by mouth in combination with zinc while a cream containing the chemical compound Clobetasol Propionate (olux, temovate) is applied to the skin.
Symptoms of biotin def. Include thinning of the hair (often with loss of hair color), & rash. ...Read more
Maybe!: There is many observations in that regard. However, there is no strong scientific evidence and studies to prove or refute its efficacy. ...Read more
What is the best recommended natural food or supplement to grow hair? I have been taking biotin pills for over 1 year now. No noticeable results.
There are none: There are no natural foods nor supplements to help grow hair, as long as a person is well nourished with a healthy diet. Malnutrition that leads to poor hair growth is rare in the U.S., but one can take a multivitamin just to be sure she is getting the recommended daily amounts. Some hormonal problems may lead to poor hair, so a primary care doctor can evaluate to see if that may be a problem. ...Read more
Waste of money: If you don't have a biotin deficiency, which is very uncommon, taking a biotin supplement will do nothing for you. Biotin is needed for healthy hair and nails but it will not improve them if there is no deficiency. As it is water soluble, the body will not even store it so it offers no long-term benefit. ...Read more
Vitamin vs. Brand:
Biotin is one of the B vitamins; it occurs in many foods and is in many different supplements. Biotin Forte is one particular supplement product that has a high dose of biotin, 5 mg, but that dose is safe and some benefits of biotin may require high doses. See https://draxe. Com/biotin-benefits/

Can I take biotin supplement in the morning before breakfast? Or is there any advisable time to take the supplement?
BiotinBiotout No Dif: Generally, it is recommended to take dietary supplements (vitamins, minerals, etc)with meals. They get mixed-up with the food and absorbed easily. On an empty stomach some may cause some transient pain or nausea. But biotin is pretty gentle, from what I know. So there is no reason not to take it when you asked, so try it. When I take it, it's with food, unless I forgot, then I just take it with water ...Read more
Is it good for health if a normal person takes regular dose of biotin like supplements? If not which supplements are good?
Often helps, depends: Biotin is not a particularly important supplement for most but does help to control blood sugar & is good for skin & nail health. Most will benefit from extra vit d & vit c as well as a multivit. But best to get most nutrients from a healthy diet! ...Read more
Is taking biotin 10, 000 mcg supplement harmful or will I still benefit from it. Also how much chromium should I take to benefit from it?
Not harmful, depends:

Haven't heard of it: Haven't heard of biotin causing weight gain. Haven't heard of any of the common over-the-counter vitamins causing weight gain... unless a person is drinking a calorie-containing drink to swallow the supplements. Doing so would lead to more calories eaten per day. Finally, biotin deficiency is very rare, because normal people get enough biotin from food, and don't need a biotin supplement. ...Read more
To the best of my knowledge, biotin is equally well absorbed with or without food so it makes little if any difference when you take it- take when it's most convenient. See http://altmedicine. About. Com/cs/herbsvitaminsa1/a/biotin. Htm

No: No, at least not in and of itself. There is no one pill or supplement that will help you lose weight. It all boils down to exercising regularly and eating a healthy diet. However, the use of biotin and probiotics is helpful for maintaining a healthy bowel; many have found that this helps to lose weight when combined with a healthy diet and exercise; but again, there is no "magic pill.". ...Read more
I'm currently taking a daily prenatal vitamin. Is it ok to also take a daily biotin supplement? Thank you!
So I don't really: Know if you are taking prenatal vitamins in case you get pregnant or actually are pregnant. Biotin would be considered safe in pregnancy, but it is best to consult your prenatal physician/midwife before adding any supplement. Biotin/B7 can be found in cauliflower, yeast, egg yolk, avocado, raspberries, salmon, etc--the best sources. Some women feel biotin may prevent postpartum hair loss. ...Read more
