The question is not about me I understand that an acute transformation of overlap myeloproliferative/myelodyplastictiy disorder is the terminal phase of the disorder But what is a blastic transformation of the disorder? Is it the same thing as an ac?

2-3 wks, then things: change somewhat. Initially the nerve root takes a hard fast hit,& is not happy. Pain, numbness. Muscle weakness is urgent. As the swelling from the herniation decreases symptoms are less. If the herniation is large you may never get out of the acute phase due to the large space it take up in a small space.Rx with NSAIDS help. Don't lose hope: Meds and therapy do help, but it may take some time. Unfortunately we have no way of knowing which meds will help for who so it is often a matter of trial and error to find the most effective with fewest side effects.
