Is acupuncture for a teen who has leg pain and never tried it painful? How long would it take? I'm kinda appresive about this possible treatment...
NOT painful!!!: If acupuncture was painful it would not be very popular. One might expect that sticking needles in you would be painful, but the needles are very thin and they barely go into the skin so any discomfort is really minimal, nothing at all like getting a shot. Then if you get a good treatment it puts you in to a state of relaxation and sometimes even bliss! As for how long, it is highly variable... ...Read more

I had minor knee pain but after i went acupuncture, it got worse with soreness and weakness in my whole leg especially after when i stretch the muscle?
I have restless arms and legs bad and the only thing that really helped is acupuncture. I can't afford that and mirapex (pramipexole) don't help much anymore?
