Dermatology consult: I'm really sorry you weren't treated properly when you should have been. You can't do anything by yourself. A dermatologist can use microsurgery, dermabrasion, laser resurfacing, or fillers to make it less obvious. Or you may choose to keep it -- several hollywood leading men kept theirs for the "tough guy" look. ...Read more
I want clear skin from acne scares&acnes.(I have oily skin)
What home remedies are best?
Which skin care routine should I do first?
Yes: Some scars elevate easily and can be injected with filling agents such as restylane, (dermal fillers) perlane, juvederm and artefill. If the scar is bound down tightly, however, the scar must first be 'released' with a sharp, knife like needle (subcision) to create a space for the filling agent to be injected. This is more technically difficult but good results can be achieved. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
For Soft Scars: Dermal fillers are pretty soft, so they work best for soft scars with shallow depressions. Deep "ice-pick" scars respond better to surgery. How to clear acne scaring? It's the brown level with skin scaring i don't want to go to the dermatologist
Forgive my frankness: If you're got scarring, your acne has already been neglected for too long. Acne that scars won't respond to non-prescription medications. You're now a grown woman. Your acne scars and persistent disease are a sign of poor self-care that will be noted as job interviews. Get with your personal physician and/or a skin specialist. ...Read more
Resurfacing: Skin resurfacing by a chemical peel, laser peel, or dermabrasion will be the only ways to improve on severe acne scaring. Of all of them I prefer dermabrasion for acne scaring because you can "shave" the top of the skin (mountains) more efficiently while leaving the scar tissue (valleys) untouched. This way the difference between the valleys and the mountains is decreased. Hope this helps. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Acne scaring are there any options to get rid of acne scaring?
I had cysmatic (not sure how to spell it) acne my whole life and still currently have it. Just not as bad. My entire face is pitted.
I talked to a specialist at one point who was very mean
I : I agree that it is important to treat the cystic acne first. Accutane is a good treatment for this purpose. Please read more about Accutane on the link below. After you complete Accutane treatment, you must wait at least six months before treating any scarring that is left over from the acne. At that point, laser resurfacing combined with selective removal of pitted acne scars can help improve acne scarring. I hope that helps! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
