No: Bv is a synergistic infection involving gardnerella and a number of other bacteria. It is treated with Metronidazole oral or intravaginal treatment. Tinidazole and Clindamycin are alternatives. Does minocycline cure salmonella. If so if i take the med every day (which I do for acne) will i never get salmonella poisoning?
I still get pimples after 2 acctuane treatments, minocycline (months) and tactuo (12 weeks). It decreased a lot but not entirely. What should I do next?

100mg minocycline 1 time a day is starting not to work for acne anymore after 3 years, would upping the dose possibly help? Any other options?
Probably no.: The P. acnes bacterias has probably become resistant. 3 years is a very long time to be taking Minocycline. It has too many side effects, with long term treatment may cause autoimmune reactions (systemic lupus erythematosus, autoimmune hepatitis).
