Just got prescribed the acne gel tazorac have not seen improvement yet how long does it take to start working?
If I am on antibiotic and an acne gel, can that affect or cause false results on a toxoplasma IgG test or a Lyme IgG test?
No, meds won't do it: Ninety percent of us have been exposed to Toxoplasma, so it's no surprise your IgG test for that is positive. No worries there. With Lyme IgGs it depends on 'what bands' may or may not be positive. You would need at least 5 bands on the IgG test to be considered a positive, but then that needs to be interpreted in the right clinical context. Ur meds aren't at fault. Good to check back with ur doc. ...Read more

Glad you're proactive, good luck. ...Read more
I have mild acne on my face , I am worried about the rednessaway by itself . Is it true or I should use a acne treatment gel?
I am already on acne antibiotic gels, i would like to know of a medicine to use on already started pimples, to reduce them (apart from preventing).
Add another Rx: Many men do not get adequate relief from an antibiotic gel. It may be time to talk with your physician about a systemic antibiotic, or if you're ready for a medication such as Accutane which is extremely effective but rather unpleasant and a bit risky, now's the time to make this known. This is the 21st century and we can clear you up if that's your wish. ...Read more
