Acne is one of the most common skin conditions. It affects about 80% of adolescents. Acne starts as a blockage of the sebaceous glands followed by inflammation. It occurs in areas where there are lots of sebaceous glands, such as the face back and chest. Just went off taking minocycline for one week for acne 3 days ago. After going off it gave me diarrhea/upset stomach. How long will it last?

Usually short lived: Usually from taking the minocycline, not from coming off of it. Now that you stopped the minocycline, it should resolve. Contact your doctor if it persists more than a few days to rule out c diff. ...Read more

I have livedo reticularis, bulging veins, non-healing body acne, off/on fever, GI bleeds, diarrhea ALT w/constip, migraines, shocks of pain neck lymph nodes. No ibd, ANA negative. Any common cause?

complicated question: Pika this is not one for the internet these can be caused by a variety if illnesses. Autoimmune problems come to mind. First you need a good internist, consultation with rheumatologist as well. These persons must be board certified in their fields as well. I would be surprised if your illnesses were not related to a central cause of either an immune nature, or lymptatic system disturbances. ...Read more
