I am being treated for rocky mountain spotted fever. Now I have horrible acne...Is this from the bacteria? I have never had acne in my life.
Any other meds?: Usually rmsf is treated with antibiotics like Doxycycline which is actually helpful for acne. If there was any corticosteroid like Prednisone added to the treatment, that may cause acne breakouts. Usually those are monomorphous red pustules on face, chest & back.
