Is there a CAUSE for acne? If so what tests can I run to find out?

Is there a CAUSE for acne? If so what tests can I run to find out?

No: I see you are a 30 year old female. If your monthly cycle is basically normal, you're not going to find a hormonal disturbance causing your acne. Beyond this, the quest to find a food, habit, exposure or anything else to explain why one person gets acne and the other person doesn't is almost always futile. Mine remitted when I was 50. Until then, do as I did and comply with Rx. Best wishes. ...Read more

But you should first go see an internist or an endocrinologist to help you address this issue. ...Read more
