Dr gave me 300mg of Zantac (ranitidine) in morning and 40mg of Prilosec at night for LPR silent reflux and hital hernia, is this over kill?
Nausea: Nocturnal nausea, with no symptoms during the rest of the time, could be due to indigestion, going to bed with too much food in your stomach or abnormally delayed emptying of the stomach. Reflux doesn't seem like due to absence of heartburn, belching or sour eructations but could still be a possibility. Careful on the long: Be careful with the a ppi as a 19 year old man. With prolonged use, they can cause rebounding (addiction) and seem to cause osteoporosis.
