Worth an evaluation!: Gerd is common--present in about 70 million americans. As such, there are easy solutions if you have just symptoms. If however you have inflammation due to gerd, this can be progressive & needs to be controlled. No Biggy: Why not just take care of the acid reflux? There are many medications for it, and dietary modification, even Tums. Yes, Zofran (ondansetron) (ondansetron) helps nausea but it will make you drowsy (maybe that's what you need?), and yes, you could take a Zofran (ondansetron) if the acid reflux makes you nauseated.
