Depends how long you: Have been coughing, and 6 weeks is a long time to be coughing. You may be experiencing food allergies, if it's always after eating, and not due to gerd, or pnd. Yes, esp in AM: Yes, a chronic cough is 1 of the signs of acid reflux. Also, post-nasal drip (allergies), asthma, & lung problems could cause similar symptoms. These conditions cd be excluded by a good doctor asking questions & perhaps some basic testing. Without knowing more, it's hard to say which condition is causing the cough. How can I get a nagging acid reflux cough to go away? I am currently taking Prilosec 40mg, once a day, everyday.
