GERD: YOU need to modify your diet like not eating fatty or spicy foods. Don't eat large meals, don't eat late at night. Don't lay down for 2 hours after eating. If you smoke, quit! You may need prescription strength medicine long term and have an Upper endoscopy to rule out H.Pylori infections and other conditions like Barretts esophagus.
