You definitely need a follow up appointment with your orthopedist. You may need x-rays of the affected joints. In addition a visit with your primary care provider is in order to rule out other causes of aching muscles and joints (i.e. Medication side effect, arthritis, autoimmune disorders, musculosketal issues etc.).

AldosS It could be that you have early symptoms of arhthritis, so its worthwhile getting an xay, ESPECIALLY if you have been a very active sportsman/runner etc, but its more likely that this a symptom of trochanteric bursitis. Heres a link to read about it; thanks
