Arthritis pain, insomnia, muscle spasm, if not sleeping, muscles do not relax allowing blood flow into muscles in a spasm loop. With crohns, is it normal to have constant pain in upper, lower back and aching arms that worsen by movement? Can it be something else wrong with me?
Yes and No: Some people with ibd can have arthritic conditions that can hurt. Upper back pain may be a possibility, however if this does not resolve you might want to get it checked out. Also typically low back pain is not a common symptom of crohns dz. Lastly it's not common at all to have arm pain associated with crohns dz. I'd have your low back and arm pain evaluated to see if the spine is the culprit. ...Read more

Can lower back pain cause hurting in legs, pelvic, and arms. It's sometimes a burning feeling also, aching in muscles, joint pain.
