Maybe muscle cramps: I sorry to hear about this. Regarding the fever, what do you call a fever? Doctor's classify fever as a temp over 101.3F or 38.5C. Do you have a temp this high every 2 months. Is there any redness around the skin of the calf?
But this could be just muscle cramps. You could try eating more bananas for potassium which can help for cramps. Water also helps for cramps. ...Read more

Feeling ill...: What you're describing can go along with a viral illness, especially if you start getting a cough or runny nose or congestion. Are you having any other symptoms or do you have anything that makes you susceptible to illness like diabetes? More info: What are you using a needle on your leg (or whatever you're pulling back on) for? Although I definitely need more information to give you the best advice, I would advise that any time you pull back on a needle from somewhere on/in your body and you get a white return, I can't help but think it's a sign of infection.
