Aching Hands And Wrists
I have aching arms and my hands and wrists have been in pain since august. I read that this is a sign of Als. I also have twitching all over.
Oh, not another one: This icebucket challenge thing, which I barely noticed when it was happening, seems to have had the unforeseen & unintended consequence of causing an epidemic of ALS anxiety among great swathes of perfectly healthy 20- and 30-somethings. Overuse: tendonitis. I would suggest a wrist support and if not allergic the use of Advil or Aleve. If pain is worsening, you may need stoner medication or a local injection with Novocain (procaine) and cortisone. I would start with a good ( sports) wrist support worn OVER a pull on tennis wrist towel ...Read more

A knot or ganglion cyst above wrist. When do I see a dr about it? Aches after prolonged use of hand & crawling feeling. Not bothersome at the moment.
Get accurate: diagnosis first. If it is a ganglion for sure, nothing needs to be done unless it causes symptoms. Sometimes, a simple aspiration and steroid injection would do it. Go an see an orthopedic surgeon. ...Read more
