Does your: Daughter have flat feet, is she overweight, does she wear high heels, poor posture, is she active? Had she had her thyroids checked? Please get her evaluated by her pediatrician. Sore calves: On recent medicine like cipro/ levaquin (levofloxacin) that causes achilles tendonitis? Recent increase in exercise? It is possible.: The pill and other oral contraceptives can increase your risk of blood clot and especially so if your are a smoker.
