Achilles Tendon Pops With No Pain
Dx with subluxation of peroneal tendons. Ordered MRI and said no indication of surgery. Have pain along length of tendons. Snapping tendon when walk.
Peroneal tendon: MRI is a static diagnostic exam so will not show active action of your peroneal tendons. Because you were laying down and stationary, the MRI may not pick up the clinical picture like your doctor would. You may need bracing, rehab or surgery of symptoms don't resolve. Good luck! ...Read more
Can bilateral Achilles tendinosis pain move up into the calves as the tendons heal? The tendon pain has improved but high calf pain has worsened.
No, thats very unli-: Kely. You probably developed some other problem, depending how you were treated for tendinosis. Possibilities include muscle tears (unlikely that you have it on both sides); clots (again very rarely do they occur on both sides); weakened muscles in the calves, if you have been treated by resting them for more than a few days ; now they are hurting, as you start getting around. See an orthopod. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Left forearm pain radiating between wrist and elbow. No relief with pt, naproxen and celebrax. Pt trainer puzzled. No nerve damage. Very painful.
May be several thing: There are many possible causes although it sounds like possible tendinitis or bursitis of the elbow. It depends on whether the pain is present at rest or with activity and if there are particular activities that cause the pain. With no history of trauma best to see an orthopedist or rheumatologist. ...Read more
Torn left knee meniscus twice, torn right achillis tendon, and symptoms of right knee meniscus tear after mri, no trauma, what could be the cause?!
Some activity: You do not have to have a specific injury to cause a meniscal tear. Sometimes the meniscus can degenerate and tear from repetitive activities such as running basketball and other pseudotraumatic sports i would work a lot on strengthening and plyometrics to help prevent further problems. ...Read more
Start with heel pain, then Achilles tendon pain. Now both gone but pain goes to whole ankle. Feel ankle pain at dawn when sleep as well. No injury.
Plantar fasciitis: This sounds like you had plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis. These two conditions commonly occur together. If the whole ankle now hurts other things could be going on as well so you should see a foot and ankle specialist and start doing some Achilles tendon stretching several times a day. ...Read more
Does stiff elbow joint commonly occur with tennis elbow? Have difficulty straightening elbow with the pain and cracking. I've ice, injection, and NSAI
Back pain: The answer depends on the anatomical reason for your discomfort. Sciatica in your age group is usually a phenomenon which occurs secondary to a small disk herniation. More often than not, supportive treatment in the form of physical therapy and a short course or pain medication will work but you have to be patient :) In short, yes walking and even stretching are good. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Ganglion cyst is: One explanation for this feeling, at times again when can be hidden and not be obvious, the extra fluid in the sack makes the wrist feel stiffer and can be painful. Sometimes if you flex extend your wrist all the way it becomes more obvious finally rapidly moving your wrist up-and-down sometimes makes the ganglion inflate a bit and be more obvious. Injured toe joint in soccer limited ROM little swelling and bruising, minor pain worsened with movement and weight bearing, toe now hurts when clicks?
Which toe?: We don't get too concerned about injuries to the little toe because it's just not that important. The big toe however is a different story. Your description sounds like the pain is fairly minor. Usually a broken bone results in a lot of swelling + a lot of pain. It would be safe to watch and wait for a few days. If it's getting better then it's likely a soft tissue injury which will heal in time. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
