Further workup: Not sure what else you have been evaluated for but panels such as EBV and Lyme may be helpful. The symptoms may be consistent with fibromyalgia and there are treatment options available for which I recommend seeing your PCP or neurologist. Yoga, stretching, walking, acupuncture, nutritionally dense diet may also be helpful as would correcting any vitamin deficiencies you may have. ...Read more

With the background of POTS and Ehlers Danlos would suggest you discuss the possibility of Fibromyalgia with you physicians. This can be a long: Conversation but let's say it's been going on for a while and no one can figure out why. Do you grind your teeth at night? That's the headache, most likely. Arthritis pain, insomnia, muscle spasm, if not sleeping, muscles do not relax allowing blood flow into muscles in a spasm loop. It's good that you are exercising and working out, however, studies have shown that people who work out too vigorously can develop a condition called exertional rhabdomyolysis. Why: You have itp with normal platelets. That's good. You have aches in the arms and legs -- a common and nonspecific symptom. That wouldn't make me think of leukemia at all. If you have bruising or bleeding, than a CBC is needed. Otherwise, itp as an auto-immune disease may be associated with other auto-immune diseases.
