Why not working?: I hope you are using the pain/fever reducers for "comfort care" and not chasing numbers on the thermometer. Infant advil (ibuprofen) has the same ingredient as childrens only it is more concentrated. A maximum dose is: infant advil: 2.5ml every 8 hrs versus children's advil 5ml every 8 hrs. The only reasons to reduce fever are that the individual is patently uncomfortable, or that their heart or lungs cannot tolerate it, or that the fever has reached heights in a child which place them at risk of seizures (>105). Different molecules,: thus different responses: Look each up using Google images. Add the word "molecule" after each generic name respectively. Comparing mg is only useful if the exact same molecule.
