Acetaminophen Allergy Symptoms
If I have taken both Lortab and Tylenol (acetaminophen) with no allergy symptoms should Tramadol be ok? I have many allergies and want to be safe.
Can't predict: Tramadol allergy is rare but there is no way to predict whether you would have an adverse reaction from taking it. Many of the adverse reactions to drugs are not due to allergy. ...Read more
Allergies occur when your immune system is triggered by envirionmental factors it should ignore--for example, pollen in the air, or dander on a cat or dog--and creates cells to fight against them. An allergic reaction typically causes itching, congestion, or drainage, and ...Read more
Unlikely: Allergic reactions to Acetaminophen (apap) occur in less than 1% of cases and symptoms are typical for allergic reaction, such as causing itchy, red rash/hives or anaphylaxis (allergic reaction affecting several organ systems). Pain in abdomen or extremity can be caused by apap in 1-10% of users, mechanism unknown. More likely, pain increase in area being treated is due to lack of effect by apap. ...Read more

Sweating is not a symptom of allergy. I suggest that you discuss your symptoms with your health care provider. ...Read more

There are very unusual effects from the drug but if you feel good with Panadol , just beware of the fact that high doses can damage your liver. I have no explanation as to why Panadol worsens your nose although Penadol sensitivity, albeit extremely rare, has been reported. ...Read more
