I'll bet you're fine: I'm sorry you weren't treated in time to avoid scarring. You'll never be scar-free. Jet Li and several other Hollywood guys kept some of their scars for the "tough guy" appeal. Your prescribing dermatologist may have some medicine, perhaps a glucocorticoid, to cover this flare-up -- you need to ask.
