On accutane. 97 lbs: 30 > 40 > 40 mg so far. triglycerides went from 98, 76, to 127. Is this really bad? :(
Normal <150: Normal triglycerides are less than 150. However, triglycerides vary depending upon whether you're fasting or not. They're lowest when you're fasting so perhaps that was difference. Regardless, your values are still normal. Just be sure to have blood drawn in AM next time for apples to apples comparison. I am starting Accutane 20 mg a day for 6 months. My triglycerides are slightly elevated because I am overweight. Can I take Sillymarin 200 mg during?
On Accutane (Claravis) for about two months (30 to 40 mg now). Cholesterol: 194, triglyceride: 98, HDL: 59, LDL: 115. Are these normal results? 97 lbs
Found out I have fatty liver (diffuse, no enlargement). Got off Accutane 2 mo.s ago, was taking it for 5-6 months. How badly it have further damaged?
Long history adult acne. S/p Accutane (6 mos) last dose 09/2012. Positive results thus far but very mild break out recently. Can wt loss cause flare-up?
Pretty safe: Accutane has some issues, especially birth defects if taken while pregnant, but most of the other popularized "dangers" are significantly overblown.
