On accutane. 97 lbs: 30 > 40 > 40 mg so far. triglycerides went from 98, 76, to 127. Is this really bad? :(

Normal <150: Normal triglycerides are less than 150. However, triglycerides vary depending upon whether you're fasting or not. They're lowest when you're fasting so perhaps that was difference. Regardless, your values are still normal. Just be sure to have blood drawn in AM next time for apples to apples comparison. Diet and exercise: Carbohydrates make the liver produce triglycerides, so you may want to cut back on refined carbohydrates (essentially anything white). That would include bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, and sugary foods. Exercise helps too. For cholesterol you may need a statin medication because this responds less to dietary changes.
