My period is here early. And I'm on the birth control pills. Can taking folic acid and biotin affect it? And get pregnant?

On Yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) and took modafinil. I read it lessens effectiveness of preventing pregnancy and must use protection 2 months. What are the percentages?
Not known: modafinil increases the activity of certain enzymes in the liver that process progesterone, a hormone used in many birth control pills. This can cause progesterone levels to be lower than expected, leading to decreased effectiveness at preventing pregnancy. This has not actually been studied (ie women on BCP, women on BCP and modafinil. How many get pregnant?). No % available. Sorry. ...Read more

Im a week late and have symptoms of early pregnancy when would be the best time to take a pregnancy test and should I continue taking my birth control
Take it now,,,: This would be a very good time to take it, as no period is likely pregnancy until proven otherwise. If it is positive, it would be wise to stop your birth control so it cannot interfere with the pregnancy. If it turns out to be negative, it would be wise to see your doctor to repeat the test as you still could be pregnant, and get an exam in case there is another reason for the late period. ...Read more

What are the side effects of Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) birth control pill in treating pcos and acne? In dilemma as to whether I should start or not.
