Depends.: What type of pain are you trying to treat? If this is due to Arthritis, any NSAID like Naprosyn, Celebrex or Ibuprofen can help. Tylenol (acetaminophen) may also be helpful. These medications can be used for headaches, toothaches or muscles aches. I took accolate (zafirlukast) for 3 mos post op breast aug. I got my liver tested after being off prescription for about 3 weeks. Enzyme is elevated in one test. Scared?

Continue follow up: I would make sure that of follow up on those tests to make sure the levels are falling which they most likely will do now that you have stopped. If they remain high additional testing may be recommended. ...Read more

Probably: I am not personally aware of any interactions between these medications and i believe it would be fine but ketones are not a prescribed medication and not fully evaluated nor tested so it is truly difficult to know. Accolate (zafirlukast) may effect your liver and it may be wise to check liver function panel. ...Read more
