Nioxin vitamins for women's hair health i've read great things about nioxin vitamins for women's hair health. Do you know anything about them?
Hair health: Agree with the doctor who commented on $. Nioxin is basically a super weak "knock off" for rogaine (minoxidil) type medicine. If you have hair loss best to make sure no thyroid or anemia issues (or many other derm issues). If really a problem & want a product, discuss something more "proven" to invest your efforts. (for ex: rogaine (minoxidil), but not for pregnant women.). ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Supplement review: Although I do not have first hand experience with this product, I have reviewed the website and their claims. They claim to manufacture according to current Good Manufacturing Processes, have FDA inspected facilities, and appear to have policies for lab testing for product purity and quality. These practices are generally good indicators of a reputable company, so the product is likely safe. ...Read more

3 months preg lack of focus/concentration affecting my job I take prenatab any herbal sups I can take to help? Gingko? Soya? Omega3? VitB3/12?
Most are safe.: I strongly discourage the use of herbal remedies like Gingko while pg but Omega 3's are fine in recommended doses.. You're probably getting enough B vitamins in your prenatal vitamins; additional B vitamins are a waste of money. Soy products are fine as long as you go easy on the soy sauce which is loaded with salt. I don't think any supplements will help with your lack of focus however. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Not too many: You can't take too many vitamins- it is safe to take them all- thus the concept of a multivitamin. You can take too much of a particular one, but there is a wide margin of safety. Yes, qualified : Folic acid is metabolized to methyl folate. In some individuals this step is inefficient and metylfolate may be a better choice. Some people have adverse reactions to high dose folic acid. Biotin is generally considered safe. This high dose would be inappropriate during pregnancy. Add one at a time and listen to your body's response. ...Read more
Better than many but: I can't speak for other docs. Looking at the ingredients it looks ok; it's main selling point is high levels of carnitine ; beta-alanine which are thought to be beneficial in building muscle when working out, but beta-alanine can cause paresthesias (nerve pain). It has natural e but not much ; would be better if it had mixed tocopherols. For independent ratings of 101 vits seehttp://bit.Ly/1b36cq0. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
