Abnormalities Of The Middle Ear And Eustachian Tube (Overview)

The pic here shows parts of the ear, including the eustachian tube which drains into the back/side of your throat. When functioning normally i.E when ascending/descending on a plane, u feel pressure in ear, then you swallow and the pressure resolves. When this tube is blocked/abnormal, pressure/junk build up in middle ear area and can get infected=ear infection. Have fun learning. Good luck.
