Will a missing molar tooth affect the facial appearance(on the exterior), skin flexibility, jaw volum loss,..as time goes by? I can't afford an implant
Missing tooth: Molars are key teeth in your mouth. They serve to bring food and that's where most of the chewing occurs. Losing a tooth in one jaw causes the tooth in the opposing jaw to over erupt and the neighboring teeth to drift. A replacement in the form of a "bridge" or an implant crown may be indicated to prevent any undesirable consequences. Consult with your dentist to determine the right treatment. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

If you're not satisfied with the answer, seek a second or even a third opinion. Some dentists have a better cosmetic flare than others. ...Read more

Will blepharoplasty change the shape of my eyes? Will my eyes retain the same basic shape, or could the shape change with blepharoplasty?

In individuals with lower lid laxity plus skin excess, the lower lid may need a cantthopexy/canthoplasty which may create more of a slant between the inner and outer corners (canthi) and may appear more narrow ...Read moreSee 5 more doctor answers
I heard that missing tooth can make one's chin shorter. Does bone loss of only one molar tooth also alter facial structure?
What could cause a bone to constantly change? My clavicle keeps changing shape. Some parts, the bone is eaten away, and others, the bone grows.
Don't know: Definitely not a "normal" complaint and should be thoroughly evaluated. There are some inflammatory conditions that can cause a resorption of bone and other parts of the bone can grow in response to it. An osteolysis of the lateral clavicle is also not uncommonly seen in weight lifters. Don't hesitate to be sen and fully evaluated. ...Read more
