It is composed of mostly water, and breakdown products from blood cells impart ...Read more
What could cause my 16 month old little girl to cry and hold her vaginal area? I have called her pediatrician, he isn't concerned nor wanted to see her. She has been doing this for a week now off and on. No temp, no blood in urine, no redness or swellin
Make her an appt...: I would call and get her an appointment anyway. It is not normal for her to experience focused pain like that. Some possible causes include a simple diaper rash in the area that is irritated by urinating. Even without the doctor's appointment, you can look down there yourself to see if you see any redness and treat it as you would a regular diaper rash. Might require an anti-fungal cream from dr.See 2 more doctor answers
24yr old male Last night Severe sharp pain in pelvic/kidney area thing I passed a stone Now there's LOTS of dark red blood in urine is ER necessary?
You need Med-checkup: Blood in the urine should stop once the stone has been passed out. Drink ample fluids today. If your urine is not clear like water by tomorrow, then you need to go see a physician. ER is only necessary if you have pain or fever which should then require immediate attention. Otherwise outpatient medical care should be adequate.

Blood after surgery: You just had surgery on your urinary tract. It is expected that you will have some blood and as you heal the amount of blood will decrease. For pain make sure that you use tylenol, (acetaminophen) NOT one of the NSAIDs, as they interfere with ability of platelets to clot. Speak to the urologist to get an average figure but as long as you see it getting lighter in color that is good!
total hysterectomy with unilateral oophorectomy on July 3. Pain with urination, blood in urine with neg culture. Bleeding red blood. Normal?
Here are some. ..: If what you have felt since the surgery has not gradually improved as usually expected within 2 months after surgery despite no UTI as cultured, you would need a cystoscopy to make sure of no inadvertent surgical injury to bladder, though not common but possible. So, contact your surgeon timely for detail. Best wish. ..
I've been diagnosed with nonalcoholic fatty liver, have multiple kidney stones. I have blood in urine for 5months now its bright red blood, no ins.
Blood in urine: Kidney stones can cause plenty of problems and can cause some blood in the urine. But bright red blood in the urine is a possible sign of something worse, such as bladder cancer. If you are unable to get in to see a urologist, you should consider going to an E.R. Btw, ultrasound is terrible at diagnosing kidney stones. You need a ct-urogram and cystoscopy.See 1 more doctor answer
