PapIGrfxHPV ASCU results negative for my pap HPV say (NEGHPV) HPV DNA reflex criteria were not met with this specimen result NO HPV test perform mean?

Normal, no HPV: If I correctly understand the abbreviations, your doctor ordered a pap smear for which HPV testing was to be done if the smear was abnormal. Your pap did not show those abnormalities; therefore HPV testing wasn't done. In other words, it's all good news: your results were fine with nothing to worry about. If you remain uncertain for some reason, contact your doctor's office. ...Read more

When is a pap test result considered abnormal?

With abnormal cells.: A pap is abnormal when there are atypical cells in it. These may be atypical from infection, in which case there would be other evidence, like white cells, organisms, blood, etc.. They can be atypical due to neoplastic changes, so there would be cells called consistent with low or high grade neoplasia. Rarely, if a cause is not pinpointed, the smear is atypical with undetermined significance. ...Read more

Normal Pap test results STD and STI tests negative. No pain during sex. Still have small amounts of blood after intercourse????

Blood=tissue damage: Any active non-menstrual bleeding/spotting you have after intercourse would reflect some type of injury to tissues exposed to the mechanical forces involved. You might see a small bleeding site with a close self exam (lighted mirror) or a doc could locate the site. If it is minimal and you keep the areas clean it will likely stop.If you are soaking pads you need to be evaluated. ...Read more

Yes: There is no need to repeat a pap smear unless it's abnormal. Cervicitis is treated with antibiotics and cervical infections can be evaluated for quickly without the need for waiting six months. First ask your doctor to explain the reasoning for their plan as they may provide informantion that would make it reasonable to wait.
