Possibly: Few lesions growing on the side of the head are benign. Most are cutaneous in origin and represent basal cell Ca, squamous Ca and melanoma. Biopsy is indicated and resection afterward depending on the pathology. May then need RT. ...Read more

Need to see Dr: Either otolaryngologist or dermatologist. This may be a basal cell skin cancer which if untreated, will continue to grow. This is a cancer that can be eliminated by simple excision & thus considered almost benign. It never metastacises. Major cause is exposure to sun. Good luck. ...Read more
What is it when you wake up one morning too see there is a growth under your nose and it looks like a furry tree bark?
It is...: When something like that happens, it is time to take a shower and hope that "furry tree bark" washes off. If said "furry tree bark" is still there upon exiting the shower, it is time to pick up that phone and call the expert... no, not the local horticulturist, but rather one's primary care doctor who likely can put an end to this mystery. I have growth of hair under my nose how can I remove it permanently help me, please every one make fun of thus?
Nose hair: You have really three choices. The first two are likely the best. Picking, trimming, and laser. Picking can be done with a tweezers and removes the whole hair but hurts. Trimming can be done with scizzors or a nasal trimmer you can but at the store. It is a circular device put into the nose that trims the hair. I do not think the laser has been perfected enough to use inside the nose. ...Read more

Otherwise, the best treatment is a tincture of time. ...Read more
Can hookah smoking at puberty affect nose shape and bone growth in general? I'm not happy with my face bones and think I stunted the growth. Help please
Other issues: Hookah smoking will not change nose shape or bone growth in general. However snorting a substance can cause a deviation or holes in the nasal septum (middle part of nose). More important is what you are smoking. Tobacco has serious risks- increased wrinkling, more likely to get colds, lung infections and long term cancer. Other substances smoked can irritate your nose, throat and lungs. ...Read more

What is used on a large skin cancer removal wound (nose) that is healing naturally to help with new skin growth and/or for there to be less scarring?
Ask the DR!!!!!: Was it a MOHS procedure? Graft? Sutures? Dressing? Forget about magic pills or vitamins to reduce scars: they are bogus claims. Usually WATER is best for routine cleaning. Keep it lubricated with vaseline or Aquaphor. Bacitracin and neosporin are useless. Worse, they are common sensitizers which may cause allergic reactions and interfere with wound healing.
