Not dead yet: As long as you have not had it removed, and are otherwise in good health without symptoms at present, then it means you should adjust the ear pieces and tap on the end of the stethoscope to be certain that you have an effective connection after moving L-to-R. Try other spots on chest as well. It is likely just a trick of the ear or the tool. ...Read more
