But if you mean you have a smelly vaginal dsicahrge, and also pain in the lower abdomen (along with swelling), you may have pelvic inflammatory disease. Difficult to tell: Without physical exam, but it sounds like it could be facet arthopathy/arthritis. This can often be felt in the back on one side often with radiation around to the side of the flank or feel like a sharp stabbing pain from the back forward. Could be high lumbar or low thoracic disc herniation of arthritis called spondylosis. See primary care who will start you on NSAIDs (motrin) and physical therapy. If no better, MRI would be indicated-lumbar and thoracic.

Sounds like bladder: It sounds like a bladder infection. PID is not that common after a routine D and C unless STDs such as gonorrhea and chlamydia were present and untreated before the surgery.
