I have been having upper abdominal pain and diarrhea for a week now. At first it was periodic and now it is constant. I have not had a fever. What's up

Some thoughts...: Sometimes with constipation, you can get something called "fecal impaction" where loose stool (diarrhea) goes around the impaction, but it's only because there's something blocking the passageway. This can give you some abdominal pain. if the answers to above are No....Try eating "lightly"over next 24hrs. I. no dairy spicy foods etc...be sure to drink water/teas etc so you don't get dehydrated....if no improvement, see your Dr.

Watery diarrhea: Would go to ER or urgent care you are likely dehydrated and need IV fluid. Lots. They will also collect stool for studies. Strep: Common symptoms include headache fever and sore throat. Other symptoms include: nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, muscle pain, or rash. The diarrhea could be related to the anabiotic and if it is persistent could actually be an anabiotic associated infection called c diff colitis. Dehydration: Is probably causing the fatigue weakness and dizziness. If you are unable to take fluids by mouth, then you will need to have them administered IV or this could get even worse.
