Abdominal Pain After Eating And Fainting
What would cause sudden severe upper left side abdominal pain w/chest tightness, SOB, & faintness found to be moderately relieved by inhaler?
You're asthmatic?: Presumably it could be many things. This combination sounds serious (especially the SOB and faintness) so if it happens often or lasts long you should be evaluated for things like blood clots. OTOH, if it has only happened once or is always very short lived it could be either mucus trapping, gas trapping (in the intestine) or "pleurisy" which just means pain coming from the lining of the lungs. Why only after eating the main meal of the day, getting severe pain in upper eft abdomen? Pain oes away completely after two hours or so.
Pin after meals: Most likely the culprit is the stomach itself. Either an ulcer or just hyperacidity can cause such pain which gets better once the food passes further. You should see a GI specialist who can specifically diagnose these issues. In the mean time, avoid fatty food and high calorie diet. Fruits and veggies can help. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Nonspecific: Nonspecific diagnosis points to your symptoms. Gallbladder pain is usually in the upper abdomen, and goes to the right side and back, and is classically comes on about 30-60' after eating a meal, particularly a fatty meal. In your symptoms are severe, go to an urgent care center or ER. If not severe, see your primary care next week for a more complete evaluation. Hope this helps! Read more
Upper abdominal pain after eating, constant nausea, burping, X 3 weeks. Now get random vomiting. AST was slightly elevated. I don't drink alcohol.
Many possibilities: If you have fever, vomiting or symptoms lasting over 4 hours, get to your doctor. If not, watch your diet. If you feel better with a low fat diet, it could be gallstones. Also hydrate and get your bowels moving. If your symptoms persist, an ultrasound, ekg and/or a scope of your upper GI tract should be considered. Read more
