Probably upper GI: The most likely thing is pylorospasm spasm of valve between stomach and duodenum, but peptic ulcer disease, pancreatic disease and gallbladder issues are other likely culprits. Colon issues can a cause if old enough for colonic pathology. Constipation as well. Impossible to say much more without more history. If not constipated, then try either mylanta or prilosec. Maybe: It depends on how long you've been on the medication and what you're doing to watch his diet to make sure that the food doesn't have a lot of acid or upset his stomach in anyway.
