Some possibilities..: If one has very uncomfortable tummy pain, and is normally in good health, plus is not pregnant, the possibilities include: appendicitis (usually R lower abdomen), diverticulitis, kidney stone (very painful), constipation (crampy), stomach flu, etc... E.R. checks appendix: Lower abdominal discomfort can be from many things. For pain there, appendicitis is a concern (pain usually worsens over time, with fever coming on). If one is constipated for several days, stool can back up all the way to the right side, and cause discomfort or pain. Gallstones, kidney stones, or gastroenteritis can also cause pain.
