How can I prevent stomach and abdominal muscle cramps during situps?

How can I prevent stomach and abdominal muscle cramps during situps?

Keep working out: As you become more fit you should experience less pain with the same intensity workout. If the cramps continue see an orthopaedic surgeon who will evaluate you for a possible abdominal wall herniation from your c-section. If you recently had the c-section ask your OB when it is safe to do situps. Good luck. ...Read more

Thyroid gone 5/31/13.Since, I have hair loss, muscle cramps in chest, underneath breast, back, abdomen+ thumbs cramp toward my palm. Meds^ to.200 (levo)?

Check calcium level : My first thought would be that your calcium levels or thyroid hormone levels are not right. I's possible to have long lasting drop in calcium after a thyroidectomy. If these levels are normal it may just be coincidental to the thyroid surgery and would need en exam and work up. ...Read more

What are the causes of muscle cramps, and is there any way to stop them?

What are the causes of muscle cramps, and is there any way to stop them?

Avoid sodas and sugary drinks. Finally, ca+ and magnisium sup. ...Read more
