Motility pain: At night your GI tract does a lot of house keeping and has some big muscle contractions that might be the cause of these cramps. Avoid constipation would be first. Keep working out: As you become more fit you should experience less pain with the same intensity workout. If the cramps continue see an orthopaedic surgeon who will evaluate you for a possible abdominal wall herniation from your c-section.
