Yes: It is normal to have mild cramping early on. If you are having severe pain, bleeding or back pain you should call your doctor right away.. An ectopic pregnancy can be readily diagnosed with ultrasound so if you are concerned your OB can do an US and reassure you. ...Read more

Not from this cycle: You had intercourse from cycle day 7 to cycle day 14. In a 28 cycle ovulation usually takes place on cycle day 14. Would only have conceived four days ago, so likely not pregnancy related symptoms from this cycle. Ovarian cysts or an abnormal pregnancy from last cycle should be ruled out. Possible: It's always possible to be pregnant with unprotected intercourse no matter when it occurred in your cycle. If the the first day of your lmp was 10/25 and you had intercourse 6 days later it would be unlikely that you are pregnant. You should check a home preg test now and if neg, repeat test in 1 week. ...Read more

I have been having strange cramps in my lower right abdomen. What could it be? I am a female and have had negative pregnancy tests.

GI, GYN; C ur Doc: Don't know your age, menstrual/pregnancy history. Things to check for: duration of symptoms, fever, timing related to meals, nighttime, urinary complaints, bowel changes, appetite changes, weight loss, nausea, bleeding; last md was when? Age related re: colon polyps, ca, ovarian cysts, etc. May be gas but... Acute symptoms- maybe infection, inflammatory bowel or early appendicitis. C ur doc now. ...Read more
