I have ovarian cysts. The last two time I master bated and had an orgasm, I felt immediate cramping in my lower abdomen after. What's up with that?

Possibly..: During orgasm, the uterus 'contracts' because two ligaments attach it to the vulvar muscles that also contract rhythmically during orgasm. This might 'pull' on the fallopian tubes/ovaries. If you have ovarian cysts, this could be cause discomfort or abdominal cramping. Masturbation should not be causing any harm, however. Read more

Not necessarily: If you are taking the pill as prescribed, you shouldn't be ovulating. The pain could be caused by multiple things. I would double check that you aren't taking any other meds that could interfere with your pill, especially antibiotics. If the pain continues, see your doctor for an evaluation and likely an ultrasound. Read more
