Upper quadrant pain. spleen borderline size 12.1cm, mild bilateral pelviectasis of kidneys. minimal R-side hydronephrosis. peripelvic cyst. Normal?
Probably: Pelviectasis is a general term used to describe dilation of the renal pelvis, or collecting system of the kidney and, generally, is clinically insignificant. Unremarkable finding. ...Read more

Mom have free fluid (lots) in stomach. CT scan normal, show fluid in lung too. Colonoscopy normal. Severe pain in higher abdomen and lower abdomen. ?
Inside or out?: It is unclear from your description if the free fluid in the "stomach" means it is fluid in the abdomen (vs. within the stomach), in which case it would be called "ascites" and this would be abnormal and seen on CT scan. If there is similar fluid in the chest (usually right side), this may be due to liver disease from a variety of causes. Alternatively need to rule out heart disease and cancer ...Read more

You need to continue: following your GYN doctor to figure out if indeed the pain you feel during bowel movement is attributable to the MRI results - especially since the ultrasound did not find anything to cause the pains. Abdominal pain lower left side, 5-7 bowel movements per day, blood and mucus also, colonoskpoy clear but CT scan showed focal wall thicken, crohns?
Need more info: Usually a colonoscopy would be much more detailed and accurate than a ct scan, for the colon. The ct scan only identifies possible findings that may or may not have any clinical significance. Where was the "focal wall thickening"? Extreme abdominal distention episodes. No distention on CT (no air, fluid, or distended bowel...Nothing). What could cause this confusing result?
Chameleons vs Static: Humans change status. 2 issues: (1) like most medical tests, only issues present at moment of the test show; not previous or future issues. (2) the range of "normal" (as defined by medical industry: the central 96% of usual) is huge.
