No: Back in the old days, sassafras was a component of root beer. The stuff contains safrole which is an electrophile and might mutate genes, and some lab animals given huge doses got liver fibrosis in somebody's lab. Not true: While there is some liquid in root beer, it's not a known stimulator of milk production. Drinking plenty of water, resting & eating well, and nursing often are the best ways to keep producing milk.
