Small spot on my face beneath right eye looks like skin rash/irritated skin/sunburn. Anything I can put on it?

Topical steroid: I would try a 1% Cortaid (hydrocortisone) like cream twice a day for a couple of days. This should help--if not---please see a dermatologist. ...Read more

I have a moving black spot in my right eye. It's small but annoying when I move my eye around. Will it go away or do I need to see a doc? I am 22.

Need to see MD: It sounds like you have a new-onset floater. This is part of a natural occurrence called posterior vitreous detachment, where the gel inside the eye separates off from the retina, sometimes forming visible clumps in the process. Because this process can sometimes cause tears in the peripheral retina which can lead to retinal detachment (a vision-threatening thing), you should be seen asap. ...Read more

There is a small spot in my eye when blinking and moving it around. It's in my right eye only so what could it be?

Floater: It could be a" floater" - a benign condition of the connective tissue between the lens and the retina of the eye. However any visual change needs to be evaluated by an eye doctor to rule out a potentially more serious (yet treatable) medical condition. ...Read more

Feels like a needle on the inner side of right eye. After a long day of work (@ computer) I get a small stroke on the spot. It's been years w/ this.

Computer eye prob: Many computer screens emit radiation that exacerbates dry eye. Reading anything, including a computer screen, one does not blink as frequently - also causing dryness. Once the eye is dry, the radiation from the screen can make a mild burn. Artificial tears taken a few times throughout the day help a great deal. See your eye md for confirmation. Radiation shields fit over the screen. They help. ...Read more

I have recently discovered a small round spot or lump on the eyelid of my right hand eye, it sometimes hurts and has just ever so slightly blurred the vision of my right eye. What could this be?

I have recently discovered a small round spot or lump on the eyelid of my right hand eye, it sometimes hurts and has just ever so slightly blurred the vision of my right eye. What could this be?

Lump in lid: Most likely this is a "chalazion". A cyst-like formation resulting from a specialized oil producing gland that has become blocked. It often needs to be excised surgically, but in the early stages may respond and resolve with wam compresses and antibiotic/steroid drops or ointments. Some ophthalmologists may prefer to inject the "lump" with a steroid injection with generally good response. ...Read more

I have small lumps/spots under right eye (in the baggy eyes part). I have also had a severe outbreak of coldsores in which I am unsure is related.

Many things: Allergies, eyelid infection (blepharitis or meibomianitis), thyroid disease, or laxity of the connective tissue around the eye that causes the fat pads around the eyeball to "push" forward called dermatochalasis. Bumps could also be the start of a herpes simplex or zoster infection. You should see your doctor immediately. ...Read more

Why do I have a brown spot in my eye? Hi, I have a brown spot in my right eye (which is lazy). I believe it has been there since birth and it's very

Likely a birthmark..: This spot is likely a small nevus. It is like a birthmark or beauty spot. Overtime it should stay about the same size. If it starts to get bigger, you need to have an ophthalmologist take a look at it. If you can, get a closeup picture of it and save it for future reference. If no one has ever told you why you have a "lazy eye" you should save that that checked. ...Read more

I have noticed a red spot in my right eye...it was a little itchy prior to this but don't know if its connected. The right eye is slightly red and gla?

Red spot by itself: Is not a big a deal as many red spots together appearing on your eye. Do you know what you were doing prior to it appearing? That's also a good thing to know. What is 'gla'? If your eye is bothering you, it's time to see your eye docto and have it looked under a microsope. (slit lamp exam) so she/he can tell you exactly what's going on. This will give you peace of mind. ...Read more

If I have a blind spot in my right eye, could it be treated (medicine/surgery)? Does working with computers/reading/crying. Etc, make it worse?

Depends on what the: Blind spot is. Everyone has a blind spot, but their brains are unaware of this blind spot. I assume this is not the blind spot you're talking about. If you actually see a blind spot in your vision, then you need to see and ophthalmologist immediately. Some of those things can be treated, but some of them cannot. You just want to make sure that it is something that's not going to get larger. ...Read more

I have a little white spot inside my right eye in the white part what could it be??

Hard to say!: It's difficult to say without seeing this. Your description does not give enough information to give you a decent answer. Sometimes a white or yellow bump can appear and sometimes seems to spread over the colored part of your eye, and this is called pinquecula. Use a google search with that word in it, & see if that is what you have. If so, ask your question again, say whether it looks it or not ...Read more

Blood spot: A conjunctival hemorrhage is a blood spot on the clear covering of the white part of the eye (conjunctiva) due to a broken capillary. I have white spot on my right eye caruncle. What is it? Itch a little, notice just recently. What possible remedy??

Cyst?: This fleshy tissue in the corner of your eye often reveals small yellowishish white "bumps" called oil glands and sweat glands. Sometimes cysts develop in this area. Mostly benign changes, however if something is brand new, irritating, increased redness or discharge, I would recommend an examination to be reassured that it's not serious. For itchiness, you may try Zaditor™, an over the counter med ...Read more
